I guess in any relationship
if it didn't work out, neither has won or lost - whether or not a party has gotten over faster than the other

I believe, in any given relationship with all considerations of circumstances; if it didn't work out, both have failed

ps: I feel somehow liberated from all the knotted strings that had been pulling me against the other direction. Rebuilding a long lost friendship was what I have always wanted & finally garnering the courage to pursue what i've desired have certainly let me live my life so much more fulfilling & move on.

Sometimes, you need to fall head on to the bottom to understand how to get to the top
