Beyond words

What happens when you have a nanny who has taken care of you for over 20 years & now that you are all grown up & your parents do not see the needed dedication, are beginning to see her as a maid ?

Over the past few days, my parents have been consistently finding faults with her & I believe it all started when my dad was notified of a severe termite manifestation at the stairway, causing a big hole in it

Additionally, it is the start of QingMing & the business has been really good our problem with it is the lack of manpower & hence, the low stock count . We basically do not have anything more to offer to our customers - my father must be very stressed

& whn I returned home just over an hour ago, my brother told me that she was crying . She simply could not take the cold treatment my parents have been giving her & that we "dont love her anymore" As childish as it sounds, it hurts me to hear that

There are so many things happening in this place, whats a home with a broken family ?

She is afterall, a maid with a contract but with 20 years of commitment & sacrifice we call her "Mother" . She did what my mum couldn't have at that time

Ugh, I am so frustrated with all of this & theres no one to tell so im writing in this space to vent . I dont want her to leave even though its inevitable especially with the current tension at home :[

Helpless, & very very very sad
